Karnal, October 11: Ramesh Saini, former Haryana Pradesh Congress General Secretary, farmer leader, columnist, and social activist, was honored with the honorary degree of Vidya Vachaspati (Ph.D.) in Journalism by Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth, Bhagalpur, Bihar, at a grand ceremony held at the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, Haridwar.
He was awarded this honor for his incomparable contributions to the fields of writing, social service, literature, and journalism. The honor was presented to him at the grand ceremony in Haridwar by Uttarakhand Minister of State Shyamveer Saini, Dr. Anand Bhardwaj, Director of the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Department and Secretary of the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, and Dr. Gopal Narsan, Vice Chancellor of Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth.
