Saroya, August 21:- The Punjab government and its local leaders, from big leaders to small leaders, do not get tired of bragging about the development works on Facebook regarding the development works of the roads and build new bridges of false praises of the development works every day. Talking about this fake fame and the leaders who make false claims of development and the newly formed leaders, retired Navy officer Baldev Singh, Samiti member Sham Lal Saroya and social worker Sukhwinder Singh said that the link road from Saroya to Alowal has been broken for a long time, so the people and passers-by of various villages are facing a lot of trouble in passing at night.
They said that on the one hand the road is broken in places and on the other hand the fear of robbery is always there due to the fact that the road is dead. Regarding this, Baldev Singh said that due to the large potholes in this road, lady teachers and children who go to school have sometimes fallen into these water-filled potholes. Due to which their new clothes get dirty and they also get injured.
He said that since this road is low, rainwater and dirty water from village Saroya also comes on this road, due to which the road breaks. He appealed to the government to pay attention to the roads of block Saroya and also demanded to make this road higher.
He said that it becomes very difficult for buses or other vehicles coming and going to school to pass due to the large potholes formed here. Today, while going to school, a small school van got stuck in a pothole in the middle of the road, which was pulled out of the pothole with great difficulty.
He asked the officers of the Mandi Board to make this low road higher so that the passers-by coming and going to different villages do not have to face any kind of trouble.
On this occasion, those who exposed the claims of the government's shallow development were Sanjay Malhotra, Bhajan Lal, Jamsher Singh Penny, Dilawar Singh, Harpreet Singh, Paramjit Kumar Panch, Hussan Lal former Panch, Dharam Pal former Panch and others.
When SDO Mandi Board was talked about in this regard, he shook his head and said that the potholes in this road should be filled soon.
