Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 24:- While the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is taking various steps for the all-round development of Punjab, pro-people schemes are also being implemented at the ground level. Along with this, the government is also permanently resolving the long-standing property ownership disputes of the people.
This was said by Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh while talking to the media on the occasion of distributing property cards to 205 people of Thaska and Dairi villages. During this, he handed over property cards to 160 people from village Dairi and 45 from village Thaska.
He said that people in possession of lands related to Lal Dore in more than 12 thousand villages of Punjab will now be able to legally become the owners of that land. He said that with this, people will now be able to take loans from banks on the basis of their land, whereas earlier there was no firm record of ownership.
The MLA said that the process of preparing property cards for lands related to Lal Dore has started across Punjab and as these cards are prepared, they will be handed over to the concerned beneficiaries.
Targeting the opposition parties, he said that some leaders are trying to mislead the people by counting their false achievements without any reason, whereas no major work has been done for the development of Mohali in the last 20 years.
He said that a comprehensive survey is being conducted to solve the problems related to roads, sewerage, water drainage and street lights in Mohali city. Wherever there is a problem of sewage, it will be fixed and if necessary, new pipelines will also be laid.
On this occasion, Gurpreet Singh (Tehsildar), Ravinder Singh (Naib Tehsildar), Kuldeep Singh Samana, Mehma Singh (Sarpanch Thaska), Malkit Singh (Block President), Gurmeet Kaur (Councilor), R.P. Sharma (Block President), Akbinder Singh Gosal, Gurpreet Singh Bariali, Avtar Singh Mauli Baidwan, Iqbal Singh (Sarpanch), Harpal Singh (Sarpanch Taroli), Surmukh Singh Thaska, Ranjit Kaur, Baljit Singh Dairi, Rajinder Singh (Sarpanch Barmajra), Manpreet Singh Mani and others were present.
