Ambala, December 20: The Ambala Town Planning team carried out a demolition drive yesterday against 13 illegal colonies being developed on approximately 40.0 acres in the villages of Budiyon, Mulana, and Patti Bhagheru in the Barara urban area of ??Ambala district. During this operation, the network of unpaved roads and approximately 60 structures in the illegal colonies were completely demolished.
Duty Magistrate-cum-District Town Planner Rohit Chauhan, Junior Engineer Abhishek Kaushik, Field Investigator Ravinder, SHO Enforcement, and SHO Mulana were present at the spot with a large police force. District Town Planner Rohit Chauhan appealed to the public, warning them against landowners/property dealers who are selling plots by falsely claiming that the colonies will be regularized.
Therefore, everyone is advised not to fall for such false promises and is warned against buying plots or constructing anything in these illegal colonies. He also stated that departmental action against such illegal colonies and constructions will continue in the future.
