Karnal, November 29 - Under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Ajay Kumar Sharda, the District Legal Services Authority participated in the district-level program to celebrate the International Geeta Jayanti held at the Mangalsen Auditorium on Saturday. Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Dr. Iram Hasan, stated that panel advocate Naresh Kumar Ranga and paralegal volunteer Agya Pal informed the public about free legal services, NALSA schemes, and the benefits of the Lok Adalat.
She informed that the National Lok Adalat will be held on December 13th in the District Court, as well as in the subdivisions of Indri, Assandh, and Gharaunda. Pending cases will be settled through mutual agreements at this Lok Adalat. He also informed that a help desk has been set up in the District Court premises to provide information about the Lok Adalat. Panel Advocate Mukesh Kumar and Front Office Coordinator Balkar Singh provide information about free legal services, NALSA schemes, and the Lok Adalat.
Awareness Camp Organized Under the Labor Safety Campaign
CJM Dr. Iram Hasan stated that awareness camps were organized in various locations and schools across the district in November under the Labor Safety Campaign to educate workers about their rights and prevent child labor. In this connection, District Legal Services Authority Inspector Rajeshlata organized awareness camps at Government Senior Secondary School, Panda, and Government Senior Secondary School, Bhadason, providing information about the Labor Safety Campaign, the Durga Shakti App, and drug prohibition, encouraging them to stay away from drugs and not participate in child labor.
