Una, December 9:- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri inspected the progress of the driving training track and traffic park being built at a cost of Rs 6.50 crore in Haroli's Roda late on Monday evening. During this time, he instructed the officials to speed up the work and not to compromise the quality standards in any way.
The Deputy Chief Minister clarified to the construction agency and departmental officials that all the works should be completed on time and with high quality. He said that this model park will become an example for the entire region.
This park will be the first sensor-based state-of-the-art traffic park in the state. It will have the latest technology for license trials, automatic sensor system for vehicle passing and checking, modern system of road safety training and awareness activities. Here drivers will be provided with training on traffic rules and safe driving as per international standards.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that this technology-enabled system will make the licensing process more transparent, fast and fair. There will be efficiency in the vehicle fitness and inspection process, thereby enhancing road safety. He said that the Haroli area is moving fast in the new direction of development and this traffic park will provide both employment and training opportunities to the youth.
