Ratia, November 11: Dr. Ravindra Baliala, Chairman of the Haryana Scheduled Caste Commission, met with laborers working in the grain market at the Market Committee office, listened to their problems, and directed officials to resolve them promptly. He instructed the Market Committee Secretary that laborers should not face any difficulties in the paddy procurement process.
He directed officials to ensure transparency, sensitivity, and prompt action in resolving public complaints. All departments should ensure that Scheduled Castes receive the full benefits of government schemes, welfare programs, and facilities.
Dr. Ravindra Baliala, Chairman of the Haryana Scheduled Caste Commission, directed the Market Committee Secretary to submit a report to the Commission within 10 days regarding the labor force working in the market and shops, including the watchmen's report, gate passes, and labor payment. He also directed the Market Committee Secretary to ensure that all basic amenities, including drinking water and toilets, are provided to laborers in the grain market.
He directed the police department to submit a report on the number of deaths due to drug abuse and the number of cases registered under SC/ST Act since January 1, 2025.
On this occasion, District Welfare Officer Vinod Chawla, Market Committee Secretary Rajkumar, Food and Supply Inspector Suresh Kumar, Warehouse Manager Sombir, Vigyan Sagar Baghla, Paras Singla, Umakant Singla along with other officers and commission agents were present.
