Officials gave this information on Tuesday, December 2. This new complex is being built under the Central Vista Redevelopment Project and its construction work is in the final stage. This complex was earlier known as the 'Executive Enclave'.
**Transition from Power to Service
According to officials, this change is not only administrative, but also cultural and moral. The aim of this initiative is to enhance the idea of ??governance from 'power' to 'service' and from 'authority' to 'accountability'.
The 'Seva Tirath' will be a workplace designed to reflect the spirit of service, and where national priorities will take shape. The new complex will also house the offices of the Prime Minister's Office, the Cabinet Secretariat, the National Security Council Secretariat and 'India House' (which will be the venue for interactions with visiting high-level guests).
**Raj Bhavan now 'Lok Bhavan'
In a series of major changes, the official residences of the governors of the states, 'Raj Bhavan', are also being renamed 'Lok Bhavan'. Officials have said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the spheres of governance have been given a new look to reflect 'duty' and transparency. "Every name, every building and every symbol now point to a simple idea - government is for service," they said.
