Hansi: Fifty talented young people from Haryana have been selected for sports quota positions in the Border Security Force (BSF). Among them is Pinky, a promising athlete from Umra village in Hansi subdivision. A wave of joy spread throughout the region. In a simple ceremony held at the joint office complex, SDM Rajesh Khoth honored Pinky and wished her a bright future. He encouraged young people to embrace hard work, discipline, and consistent practice as a part of their lives.
In his address, SDM Rajesh Khoth stated that sports not only strengthens a person physically but also develops mental toughness, self-confidence, and leadership skills. He said that the state government is implementing several schemes to promote sports, through which athletes are provided with cash incentives and high-ranking positions in government services. The Haryana government's new sports policy has brought national and international recognition to the state's athletes.
He informed that 116 athletes from across the country have been selected for sports quota positions in the Border Security Force, of which 50 are from Haryana, including both male and female athletes. This is the result of the youth's hard work, dedication, and commitment to sports. He said that today's youth are not only participating in sports, but are also bringing glory to the country by making sports their career. He said that sports open new doors to employment. A true athlete never remains unemployed. They are sure to succeed in life.
The SDM said that the state government is providing all possible support to athletes. Numerous schemes have been implemented to promote sports, through which sports culture is being encouraged at the rural level. Additionally, by expanding sports facilities, better training and opportunities are being provided to the youth.
SDM Rajesh Khoth congratulated all the selected youth and urged them to serve the country with discipline and dedication and to be an inspiration for future generations. Officials and parents present at the ceremony also encouraged the selected youth and wished them a bright future.
