Kharar, October 7 – The Bharatiya Janata Party organized a ceremony in Kharar today to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the national song "Vande Mataram." Addressing the ceremony, Sukhwinder Singh Goldy, Treasurer of the BJP Punjab, said that the significance of today's ceremony was to provide insight into the national song "Vande Mataram" in the long history of independence.
He said that there have been many important milestones in the country's history when songs and art, in various forms, played a vital role in shaping movements by awakening public sentiment. He said that this song not only reminds us of the past but also serves as an invitation to the future. Vande Mataram continues to inspire our vision of a developed India 2024.
He said that it is our responsibility to transform this sentiment into a self-reliant and better India. BJP leaders, Mandal presidents, and workers were present at the ceremony.
