Hoshiarpur: The promise made to the villagers to make the Firni of Bhaam village in the Chabbewal assembly constituency concrete has been fulfilled. This information was provided by Dr. Ishank Kumar, AAP MLA from the Chabbewal constituency. He stated that this 1.5 kilometer-long Firni has been made of concrete and the road has been widened to 18 feet, at a cost of 1.15 crore rupees. He said that the road had been frequently breaking due to waterlogging, but now the concrete will make it more durable and the widening will facilitate general traffic.
He further stated that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann, work is being carried out rapidly to develop road infrastructure. He stated that strengthening the state's infrastructure is a priority for the government to ensure convenience for people during their travel. Dr. Ishan Kumar stated that his primary agenda is development, and therefore, all villages are being developed according to the needs of the people, without any discrimination.
During his meeting with the people, he stated that the Chabbewal area is rapidly developing, and his goal is to work for public welfare with the cooperation of the people. He stated that in villages where funds are being released for development, work on playgrounds, sewerage, and gyms has already begun, prioritizing the quality of all projects, including streets and drains.
The villagers present on the occasion thanked their MLA for this Firni and other development projects being undertaken in the village, and reiterated their solidarity in his support.
