Una, November 10 – The Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Department has invited applications from private surveyors for a digital crop survey to be conducted in all revenue villages across the state. This survey will be conducted through a mobile-based online platform under the Agri-Stack scheme, creating an accurate digital record of crop-wise sown area at the Khasra (plot) level.
Kulbhushan Dhiman, Deputy Director of Agriculture, Una, stated that guidelines have been issued by the Director of Agriculture in this regard. He stated that applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must have an Aadhaar card and bank details.
Mr. Dhiman stated that Agricultural Extension Officer Assistants (ATM/BTM), Supervisors, Krishi Sakhis, Pashu Sakhis, unemployed agriculture/horticulture/forestry graduates, Self-Help Group (SHG) members, PACS representatives, Patwaris, or village representatives can also apply for this survey. Selected surveyors will receive an incentive per survey as per the standards set by the department.
Interested candidates can apply online through the department's portal, https://hpsdc.agristack.gov.in/crop-survey-hp. The DCS Himachal Pradesh mobile app required for conducting the survey is available on the Google Play Store. Applicants must have an Android smartphone and have basic knowledge of data collection and uploading through the mobile app.
The department will give preference to applicants with knowledge of local agricultural and geographical conditions.
