Karnal, June 2: A delegation from the District Teachers' Association met with MLA Jagmohan Anand on Monday to express their gratitude to the Haryana government for resolving the teachers' long-standing demands—some dating back years—and for the positive decisions taken within the education sector. During the meeting, the teachers also submitted a memorandum outlining their various demands, regarding which the MLA assured them of positive action.
While meeting with members of the Teachers' Association at his camp office in Sector-13, MLA Jagmohan Anand stated that both the Central and State governments are paying full attention to safeguarding the interests of every section of society. He emphasized that education serves as the strongest foundation for society and nation-building, and that respecting the teaching fraternity—along with protecting their interests—ranks high among the government's priorities. The State government, he added, is continuously working to further strengthen and enhance the quality of the education system.
Expressing their gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and former Chief Minister (now Union Minister) Manohar Lal, the representatives of the Teachers' Association remarked that the government has taken historic decisions by resolving their long-pending demands. On this occasion, guest teachers also submitted memorandums regarding their specific concerns to the MLA and engaged in discussions concerning various issues related to the education sector. Listening to their demands with earnest attention, the MLA assured them of every possible assistance and cooperation.
