Hoshiarpur, September 06, 2026: Lions Club Hoshiarpur Pearl, under the leadership of President Lion Vijay Arora, celebrated Teachers' Day with reverence and respect. Past District Governor Lion Harish Banga and his wife Lion Lady Rajni Banga attended as chief guests. Prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora successfully conducted the stage proceedings.
Highlighting the significance of Teachers' Day, Sanjeev Arora stated that teachers do not merely impart bookish knowledge but build the personality, values, and character of students. Honoring teachers is truly a recognition of knowledge, culture, and nation-building. During the ceremony, four educators—Chander Prakash Saini (Government School Bagpur), Manoj Kennedy (Retd. Headmaster, Government High School Fatehgarh), Deepak Talwar (Government High School Mandiala), and Ashwani Dutta (Retd. Deputy Director Education)—were felicitated with mementos and shawls.
