Una, June 21: The state government has bestowed another major gift upon the Haroli Assembly constituency. A notification has been issued to upgrade the Tahliwal Fire Post to a Sub-Fire Station with immediate effect. Along with this, approval has been granted for the creation of 16 new posts and the provision of two state-of-the-art fire-fighting vehicles.
Deputy Chief Minister and Haroli MLA Mukesh Agnihotri stated that the need for a Sub-Fire Station had long been felt due to the expansion of industrial activities in the Tahliwal industrial area and its vicinity. Prioritizing the public interest, the state government has fulfilled this demand.
According to the issued notification, posts for one Sub-Fire Officer, one Leading Fireman, 10 Firemen, and four Driver-cum-Pump Operators have been created for the new Sub-Fire Station. Additionally, a water bowser and a CO2 fire-fighting vehicle will be provided to the station.
Mukesh Agnihotri remarked that this decision would further strengthen fire-fighting and disaster management services across the entire Haroli Assembly constituency, including the Tahliwal industrial area. Industrial units, local residents, and institutions will have access to prompt relief and rescue services during fire incidents and other disasters, significantly enhancing the region's emergency response capabilities. He added that continuous efforts are being made for the holistic development of Haroli and the expansion of better infrastructure facilities.
