Haryana/Hisar: The second day of the 'Rangotsav' (Festival of Colors) and 'Bal Sanskar' (Child Values) camp—organized jointly by Bharat Vikas Parishad (Gayatri Branch, Barwala) and Ragini Arts, Barwala, at the Brahmin Dharamshala premises—commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before 'Maa Bharati' (Mother India) by the chief guest, Zile Singh Shekhawat, Principal of Government Middle School, Shivpuri Van, Barwala.
Addressing the children and parents present, Chief Guest Principal Zile Singh Shekhawat stated that such camps play a vital role in honing children's creative talents while simultaneously fostering moral values, discipline, and cultural ethos. He remarked that such camps serve as the foundation for the holistic development of children. Techchand Mudgal, the coordinator for 'Sanskar' (values) activities and the day's program president, emphasized that in today's times, it is crucial to connect children not only with academic education but also with cultural and social values. During the camp, art teacher Ravindra Jangra provided the children with fundamental instruction in calligraphy and writing skills.
Several dignitaries were present during the event, including Secretary Rajendra Bhatt, Project Head Sunil Attri, Surendra Goyal, Virendra Sharma, 'Seva' (Service) Activity Coordinator Zile Singh Jakhar, Jaswant Lohan, 'Sampark' (Outreach) Activity Coordinator Zile Singh (LIC), Rajbir, Madan Soni, Master Surajmal, and Master Satish Verma. Gunjan Goyal and Sunita Jakhar, representing the women's wing of the branch, engaged the children in discussions regarding patriotism and love for the nation.
Competitions featuring traditional games were also organized for the children. During the event, office bearers of BVP Gayatri Branch and Ragini Arts honored the chief guest, Principal Zile Singh Shekhawat.
