Hansi:- With the aim of promoting technical proficiency, logical thinking and digital awareness among students, the "Quiz-O-Tech" computer quiz competition was enthusiastically organized at Baba Banda Bahadur Public School, Hansi. The program was inaugurated by the school's Principal Lovely Chawla, Administrator Praveen Chugh and Academic Coordinator Pawan Rawal by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati and by the students singing a shabad. Students from class 9th to 12th participated in the competition with full confidence, enthusiasm and competitive spirit, giving an impressive demonstration of their excellent computer knowledge and quick decision-making ability.
The specialty of the competition was that each team was named after eminent personalities of the information and technology world - Mark Zuckerberg, Charles Babbage, John McCarthy and Sundar Pichai. This inspired the students from the life and contribution of leading personalities in the technical field.
To make the program interesting, informative and competitive, it was organized in four stages - General Round, Buzzer Round, Rapid-Fire Round and Visual Round. In each stage, an exciting contest was seen between the participating teams, where students gave accurate and quick answers to questions related to computer science, information technology and the digital world. Students of Sundar Pichai team - Aditya, Shri Lakshmi, Manasvi, Asmi secured first position, Mark Zuckerberg team secured second and John McCarthy team secured third position.
The enthusiasm of the audience was also worth seeing throughout the event. Computer department teachers Poonam Kheda, Kanhaiya, Meenu Rani, Sushma and Sonali had a special contribution in the successful conduct of the competition. Their efficient guidance, planned preparation and impartial conduct made the competition successful and memorable.
The school's Principal Lovely Chawla and Administrator Praveen Chugh appreciated the talent, discipline and enthusiasm of the participating students and congratulated the winning teams. In her address, Principal Lovely Chawla said that in today's digital age, computer knowledge is not just a subject, but has become an essential life skill. Such competitions develop curiosity, innovation, logical thinking, teamwork and a spirit of healthy competition among students and prepare them for future technological challenges.
In the end, the winning participants were felicitated by giving certificates.
