Ratia, December 17:- Under the campaign against drug abuse being run under the guidance of *Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS*, the Ratia City Police Station and the Drug Department jointly conducted an intensive inspection campaign of medical stores. The objective of this action was to stop the illegal sale of narcotic drugs and to prevent young people from falling into the clutches of addiction.
In this joint inspection campaign, a police team led by Drug Inspector Dinesh Kumar and Station House Officer of Ratia City Police Station, Woman Inspector Pushpa, conducted surprise inspections of various medical stores in the city. The team specifically checked whether any type of narcotic drugs, syringes, or banned medicines were being sold without a valid doctor's prescription.
During the campaign, Jindal Medical, Guri Medical, Jangra Medical, Arun Medical, Rattakhera Jangra Medical, and Balaji Medical Hall, along with other medical stores, were thoroughly inspected. The stock registers, sales records, and license-related documents were also examined to prevent any irregularities in time.
During the inspection, all medical store owners were strictly warned not to give any type of narcotic drug, injection, or syringe to anyone without a doctor's prescription. If any violation of the rules is found, strict legal action will be taken against the concerned medical store owner. They were also instructed to maintain complete sales records and cooperate with the concerned department from time to time.
The police and the drug department clarified that this campaign against drug abuse will continue continuously. The objective of Fatehabad Police is not only to take action but also to make society drug-free and secure the future of the youth. The general public is also appealed to inform the police immediately if they get any information about the illegal sale of narcotic drugs.
