Chandigarh, January 29:- The Haryana Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department will organize a three-day 41st State Level Livestock Exhibition in Kurukshetra from February 6 to 8, 2026. About 1500 advanced breed animals from across the state will participate in this state level exhibition in various categories.
Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department said that the main objective of this exhibition is to motivate the livestock farmers for breed improvement by displaying the best breed animals and to increase the income of the farmers by increasing milk production.
He directed all the officers of the department to appeal to the livestock farmers in their respective areas to provide the details of their best breed animals to the concerned veterinary and complete the animal entry application in time.
The spokesperson said that Murra buffalo, indigenous breed cows (Haryana, Sahiwal, Gir, Tharparkar, Sahi, Belahi), cross-breed cows, horses and donkeys, camels, sheep (Nali breed), Hisar Del breed, goats and Gaushala cattle will participate in the exhibition. 
He said that the best cattle selected during the exhibition will be honored with cash prizes and certificates. Cattle owners will have to bring Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank passbook, crop cheque and family identity card with them to participate in the exhibition.
