Chandigarh, March 7:- On the occasion of the glorious completion of 11 years of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao program, a state level function will be organized on March 8 at Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini will attend the function as the chief guest. During this, women empowerment, their rights and their significant contribution to the society will be seen.
The spokesperson said that International Women's Day is a symbol of respect, equality and empowerment of women. During the function, women who have done good work in various fields like education, health, social service, sports and other fields will be honored. Along with this, various schemes and achievements related to women empowerment will also be shared, so that women can be made aware of their rights and opportunities.
