Haryana/Hisar:- Subhash Raheja—alias 'Kalu'—the uncle of Vicky Raheja (former Councilor of Ward No. 9, Barwala) and younger brother of Omprakash Raheja, passed away on March 19. His demise has cast a pall of gloom over the entire region.
Following his passing, a condolence meeting was held at his residence in Ward No. 9, Barwala, where representatives from various political, social, and religious organizations gathered to pay their tributes.
Among those who expressed their condolences were Surendra Poonia (State General Secretary, BJP Haryana), Monu Sanduja (Mandal President, BJP Barwala), Praveen Saini (Chairman, Market Committee), Rajesh Saluja (Editor of *Ekta Time* and Journalist for *Dainik Hari Bhoomi*), Kamal Handuja (District IT Co-convener, BJP), Rajesh (Mandal Media In-charge), Ramniwas Khowal (Director, Shiva Property Consultants), Pankaj Badal (Nominated Councilor), Aman Mehta (President, Punjabi Sabha Barwala), and senior BJP leaders including Shubham Madan, Sunil Mehta, Rajendra Poonia, Raju Saluja, and Krishna Saluja, alongside numerous other dignitaries.
Furthermore, current and former councilors—as well as members and office-bearers from organizations such as the Lions Club, Friends Club, Akhil Bharatiya Seva Sangh, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Rotary Club, and Punjabi Sabha Barwala—also expressed their deep sorrow over the loss.
Former Councilor Vicky Raheja noted that the late Subhash Raheja was a man of a social disposition and was widely recognized in the region as a friendly and helpful individual.
His final prayer ceremony (*Antim Ardas*) is scheduled to be held on March 31 at the Durga Temple, located on Hisar Road in Barwala, where residents of the region will gather to pay their final tributes to him.
