Hansi:- A special cleanliness drive is being conducted by the Hansi Municipal Council until July 19 as part of the 'Swachhata Se Swagat' (Welcome through Cleanliness) campaign. On Wednesday, extensive sanitation drives were carried out in Wards 1, 5, 16, 19, and 24. This campaign is being executed under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rahul Narwal and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Lakshit Sarin.
During the drive, sanitation workers carried out intensive cleaning of roads, streets, public spaces, and drains. In addition to ensuring the prompt removal of waste, citizens were sensitized about cleanliness; they were urged to segregate wet and dry waste, refrain from littering in public areas, and actively cooperate in keeping the city clean.
Maintaining a clean and healthy environment is the shared responsibility of every citizen. The objective of this special campaign, running from July 13 to 19, is to ensure better sanitation systems in the city and transform cleanliness into a mass movement through public participation. Citizens were appealed to contribute to the success of the campaign by adhering to cleanliness guidelines.
