Under this campaign, officials and employees of the Municipal Council and concerned departments jointly conducted an extensive cleaning drive in wards number 1, 5, 16, 19, and 24.
During this drive, ADC and DMC Lakshit Sarin remained personally present in the field. While inspecting various wards, he took stock of the cleaning work of drains, roads, streets, public places, and the sewerage system, and gave necessary guidelines to the officials.
During the campaign, drains in various areas of the city were cleaned and waste was removed; dirt was cleared from roads and streets, and public places were made clean and tidy. Wherever necessary, sewage lines were cleaned using a 'Super Sucker' machine so that the problem of sewage blockage could be resolved in time and situations like waterlogging do not arise during the rainy season.
Directing the officials, ADC and DMC Lakshit Sarin said that piles of garbage, dirt, or waterlogging should not be visible anywhere in the city. He stated that any negligence regarding cleanliness arrangements would not be tolerated, and every official should ensure the cleaning system by regularly inspecting their assigned areas. He instructed to pay special attention to the timely cleaning of drains, immediate disposal of garbage, maintenance of sewage lines, and regular cleaning of public places.
He said that public participation is essential to make Hansi a clean and beautiful city. Therefore, citizens should also maintain cleanliness around them, dispose of garbage only at designated places, and actively cooperate in the Municipal Council's cleanliness campaign. He instructed officials to continuously create awareness among people regarding cleanliness so that a clean environment can be maintained permanently in the city.
