Haroli/Una, July 6 (Rajveer Chopra): The School Management Committee (SMC) was constituted in a cordial atmosphere at Government Senior Secondary School, Nangal Kalan. The meeting held on this occasion was presided over by the school principal, Meenakshi Gupta. Parents and committee members participated in the meeting with great enthusiasm.
During the meeting, Mr. Ashok Kumar was unanimously elected as the SMC President, and Mrs. Krishna Devi was elected as the Vice-President. The members present welcomed the newly elected office-bearers and extended their best wishes.
In her address, Principal Meenakshi Gupta stated that the SMC plays a vital role in the overall development of the school. She urged parents and committee members to actively cooperate in the school's activities. Detailed discussions were held regarding students' academic achievements, available school facilities, cleanliness, discipline, and ways to further improve the quality of education.
The newly elected President, Mr. Ashok Kumar, pledged to work with full dedication towards the school's development and the students' welfare. Similarly, Vice-President Mrs. Krishna Devi assured her full cooperation for the school's progress.
Nagar Panchayat President Niranjana Kumari, who was present on the occasion, remarked that education is the foundation of any society's progress. She assured that the Nagar Panchayat would provide all possible support for the school's development projects and the students' academic advancement. Congratulating the newly formed SMC, she expressed confidence that the committee would play a significant role in taking the school to new heights.
