Patiala- Single-use plastic bags should always be closed and cloth or jute bags should be used. So that the food that comes to the house can be safe. Vegetables or other items brought in plastic bags spoil quickly, which spoils our health.
We should all make a firm decision that we will not use plastic but will use cloth bags. The society has been making people aware of this idea for about 25-30 years. Mrs. Charanjit Kaur, Chief Librarian, Central State Library, gave this idea to the children and staff while giving them cloth bags. Patiala Social Welfare Society President Vijay Kumar Goyal and Librarian Mr. Rupinder Singh were present with them.
The children promised that they would make people aware and they would also use those bags. On this occasion, Mr. Narpinder Singh, Librarian, and readers who came to study in the library were present.
