Patiala:- Shri Begampura Mission (Regd) Punjab and Adara Gusaiyan Patiala organized an honour and special speech ceremony at Sushil Palace Patiala under the guidance of Kulwant Singh Narike, President Shri Begampura Mission and Chief Editor Gusaiyan. In which Dr. Charanjit Singh Channi, former Chief Minister of Punjab and Member of Parliament from Jalandhar constituency, was honored with the “Shri Begampura Award-2026” and eminent writer Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sirsa was honored with the “Gusaiyan Award-2026”.
Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi, Member of Parliament from Patiala constituency, was the chief guest in the event and Mr. Sandeep Dixit, Chairman, Creative Congress, AICC, Delhi, was the special guest. The theme of the special speech at the event was, ‘Hindustan’s place in the world, man’s place in Hindustan.’
After receiving the honor, Dr. Charanjit Singh Channi highly appreciated both the organizations. Scholar and political thinker Dr. Ravi Sinha Delhi, in his special speech as the main speaker, compared India and the world socially and economically and said that India is still very backward from the world. Until a person in India gets due respect, India cannot have a special place in the world. He also praised the humanistic thinking of Begampura Mission.
Shri Sandeep Dixit, while addressing, said that Punjab has never become communal. The rest of the country should also learn this thing from Punjab. Punjab has contributed the most against hunger. Speaking as the chief guest, Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi said that until oppression is eliminated in the country, until inequality is eliminated; until then India has no place in the world. Can be made.
