Fatehabad: The seven-day NSS camp at Manohar Memorial College of Education concluded with a pledge of service and sensitivity. On the final day of the camp, the volunteers not only spread the message of cleanliness but also demonstrated social responsibility by helping the needy. The final and seventh day of the camp began with a special cleanliness drive conducted in the canteen area of ??the college premises.
Following this, the volunteers presented a colorful cultural program. At the closing ceremony, certificates were distributed to the volunteers who had performed exceptionally well, encouraging them for their efforts. At the conclusion of the camp, the volunteers visited slum areas, where they distributed clothes, fruits, and biscuits to the needy, showcasing their commitment to social responsibility. Earlier, the sixth day of the camp was dedicated to health awareness, in collaboration with the Sports and Yoga Club.
On this occasion, in the yoga session, yoga instructor Lakshmi guided the students through various yoga postures and taught them the principles of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Dietician Megha Batra explained the importance of a balanced diet to the students and gave them tips on proper nutrition.
In addition, Dr. Ashima Arora, a dental specialist from Sai Dental Clinic, examined the volunteers' teeth and raised awareness about oral hygiene. This seven-day camp successfully concluded, fostering leadership qualities, health awareness, and a spirit of social service among the students.
