Hansi, September 16:- With the objective of taking the spirit of public service and good governance to every section of society, the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be launched in the district on Thursday, September 17. Under the campaign, various programmes related to service, cooperation, awareness, public participation and development will be organised across the district from September 17 to October 17. In preparation for the campaign, DC Rahul Narwal held a meeting with the concerned officers on Wednesday, reviewed the arrangements and issued necessary directions.
Earlier, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioners of the state through video conferencing and reviewed the preparations for the campaign in detail. The Chief Minister directed the officers to turn the campaign into a mass movement with extensive public participation and ensure that the benefits of various service activities reach the maximum number of people.
DC Rahul Narwal said that on the first day of the campaign, lamp-lighting programmes under the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ campaign would be organised in Hansi at the District Secretariat, Railway Station, Toran Gate, Hansi-Bhiwani Highway, Mata Kali Devi Temple, Geeta Chowk, Jain Temple, Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan, Keshi Farm, Hisar Chungi School, Jat Dharamshala, Public Works Department Rest House, Bajrang Ashram, SDO Women’s College, Samadha Temple, Dr. Ambedkar Chowk, Patel Chowk, Tikona Park, Barasi Gate, JCI Chowk, Ashok Chowk, Government College, Data, Industrial Training Institute, Hansi, Block Development and Panchayat Officer’s Office, Civil Hospital, Baba Banda Bahadur School, Prithviraj Chauhan Fort, Tehsil Office, Government College Ugalan, Mini Secretariat Narnaund, Municipal Office Narnaund, Government Industrial Training Institute Pyau Majra, Tehsil Office Kheri Jalab and Government Industrial Training Institute Rakhi Shahpur.
He said that along with these locations, the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme would also be organised at all booths, Amrit Sarovars, development projects, gaushalas and religious and social institutions across the district.
The DC said that throughout the month, people would be connected with service activities through different modules. Activities such as blood donation, Mere Sapno Ka Bharat, Aangan Milan Seva, Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra, Seva Mera Yogdan, Chitra Seva, Seva Ke Rang-Rashtra Ke Sang, Seva First Innovation Challenge and Seva Setu Abhiyan would be organised under the campaign.
Besides, programmes such as ‘Namo Seva-Ankahi Kahaniyan’ would be used to share experiences related to service activities, public participation and good governance with the people. Through various activities, different sections of society would be motivated to actively participate in creative and public service activities.
DC Rahul Narwal said the main objective of the campaign is to connect the general public with service activities and effectively ensure that eligible people receive the benefits of government schemes and services. For this, maximum participation of students, women, youth, self-help groups and the general public would be ensured.
He directed officers of all departments to work in mutual coordination and said that every activity organised under the campaign should be effectively monitored. He also directed that photographic and video documentation of the programmes be ensured so that the service and public welfare activities being carried out in the district could be showcased on a wider scale.
