Hansi: SDM Rajesh Khoth listened to various grievances raised by citizens at a resolution camp held at the local District Secretariat complex and instructed officials from relevant departments to ensure prompt solutions. Key issues raised during the camp included sanitation, drainage, water supply, social security pensions, and discrepancies in 'Parivar Pehchan Patra' (Family ID cards).
While addressing a complaint regarding city cleanliness, SDM Rajesh Khoth stated that a six-month contract has been awarded to an agency to improve the regular cleaning of city roads, and the agency has already commenced operations. He mentioned that the agency would clean city markets and main roads twice daily—in the morning and evening—to maintain the city's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the agency has been tasked with cleaning drains to ensure the smooth discharge of wastewater. He noted that the waste collected by the agency is being transported to the dumping station at Beed Farm.
At the camp, Pradeep and Dilbag, residents of village Kharkada, submitted an application regarding the drainage of rainwater. Treating the matter seriously, the SDM directed officials from the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) to ensure the provision of necessary electricity connections for the drainage system, thereby facilitating a permanent solution.
Similarly, residents of Ram Singh Colony raised concerns regarding water supply and the wastewater drainage system in their area. In response, SDM Rajesh Khoth instructed officials from the concerned departments to conduct on-site inspections and take necessary action.
Furthermore, the camp received numerous applications regarding the processing of social security pensions, the correction of errors in Family ID cards, and other administrative issues. The SDM listened to all grievances attentively and directed officials to ensure their resolution on a priority basis. SDM Rajesh Khoth stated that the primary objective of the grievance redressal camp is to provide immediate, on-the-spot solutions to the public's issues, thereby sparing people from making repeated visits to government offices and ensuring the swift resolution of their problems.
Officials from various departments, including District Development and Panchayat Officer Sandeep Bhardwaj, Naib Tehsildar Khurshid Ahmed, and Block Development and Panchayat Officer Raj Singh, were present on the occasion.
