Hoshiarpur: On the occasion of the country's 80th Independence Day, Sandeep Sharma, President of the Disabled Persons Welfare Society, Hoshiarpur, donated blood at the Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur. Speaking on the occasion, he remarked that blood donation is a noble act of social service and that the blood donated could help save the life of a person in need. He dedicated this donation to children battling thalassemia.
