Lalru:- Senior Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot received a warm welcome from Congress workers upon his arrival in Lalru during his visit to Punjab. Hundreds of workers gathered to welcome Pilot, during which slogans were also raised in support of the party. Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, along with several senior and local party leaders, was also present on the occasion.
Former president of Zirakpur Municipal Council Udaiveer Singh Dhillon, Honey Pandit, Ankit Jain, Councillor Bhupinder Singh Bunty Rana, former chairman of the Land Mortgage Bank Inderjit Singh Kamboj, Jarnail Singh Jharmari, Avtar Singh Jarot, Manpreet Singh Kurli, Happy Kurli and Kuldeep Singh Bartana, along with panches, sarpanches and former Block Samiti members, welcomed Pilot by presenting him with flower garlands.
During the gathering, Punjab Congress president Raja Warring, claiming that the party was united in Punjab, said that workers and leaders were working together to strengthen the organisation. He said that in the coming period, Congress would succeed in taking its political graph upward again in Punjab and that the Congress party would form the government in Punjab in 2027. He said that an investigation would be conducted into the corruption and irregularities allegedly committed by the Aam Aadmi Party.
The rule of law would be established in the state and every section, including farmers, employees, traders and Dalits, would be given their due rights. On the occasion, Sachin Pilot also encouraged the workers and called upon them to put aside their mutual differences and work together for strengthening the party.
