Ratia, September 7:- Dedicated to Teachers’ Day, Rotary Club Ratia Town honored two retired teachers, Parwinder Singh and Lecturer Kawaljit Singh, for their notable educational services. Club office-bearers presented both teachers with shawls and appreciation certificates and praised their contributions to the field of education.
The felicitation ceremony was presided over by Club President Advocate Tarlochan Singh. He said that teachers play an important role in building society. Even after retirement, their experience and guidance remain inspirational for society. He said that since 2009, Rotary Club Ratia Town has been honoring retired teachers every year for their outstanding and commendable services. This tradition is a meaningful effort to express respect and gratitude towards teachers.
On this occasion, Project Officer Gamdoor Singh and Club Secretary Hardeep Singh welcomed the guests and the honored teachers and presented a report on the club’s activities and social service initiatives.
The honored teachers expressed their gratitude to Rotary Club and said that such recognition is not only a matter of pride for teachers but also motivates them to continue contributing to the welfare of society.
Tek Singh Chahal, Major Singh, Satpal Singh, Udaydeep Singh, Sukhwinder Sadhu, Palwinder Gill and Harman Dandiwal, along with other club members and prominent people, were present at the ceremony.
