Zirakpur, March 10:- Honorable MLA of Derabassi constituency Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa formally inaugurated the work of resurfacing the road with a new look, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the residents of Ward No. 6 Mamta Enclave of Dhakoli area falling within the limits of Zirakpur Municipal Council. On this occasion, the residents of the area thanked MLA Randhawa.
This road is about one kilometer long and its construction will cost about Rs 67 lakh. Due to its poor condition, the residents of the area had to face difficulties in transportation for a long time, due to which the people were demanding the reconstruction of this road. Now the construction of this road will provide great relief to the people of the area and the transportation will be smooth.
On this occasion, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that under the leadership of the Punjab Government and Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, continuous work is being done to provide basic facilities to the people. He said that development works are being carried out on priority basis in every area of Derabassi constituency so that the people do not have to face any kind of problem.
He further said that in the coming time also, various projects will be started to strengthen roads, drainage system, drinking water and other infrastructure in the constituency.
The entire team of Aam Aadmi Party, officials of Municipal Council Zirakpur and residents of the area were also present on this occasion.
