Nawanshahr, October 31- Today, on the initiative of the police administration, a race was organized by the school students under the leadership of DSP Shri Raj Kumar, School Principal Sardar Parvinder Singh Jassomjara, SHO City Shri Avtar Singh under the "Run for Unity" at Doaba Sikh National Senior Secondary School.
Addressing the rally, DSP Shri Raj Kumar said that its main objective is to strengthen unity and integrity in India. He also made the children aware of drugs and cybercrime. SHO City Inspector Avtar Singh in his address asked the children to follow traffic rules and stay away from drugs.
ASI Praveen Kumar gave information about the purpose of "Run for Unity". School Principal Parvinder Singh Jassomjara welcomed the guests and honored DSP Mr. Raj Kumar, SHO Inspector Avtar Singh, Traffic Incharge Mr. Subhash Chander and Saanjh Kendra Incharge ASI Mr. Gurdeep Singh with medals. The above-mentioned personalities also planted saplings in the school.
