Dhuri, June 12:- In a significant initiative aimed at providing a more transparent, progressive, and business-friendly environment for traders and entrepreneurs across the state, the Dhuri unit of the Punjab State Traders Commission constituted by the Punjab Government organised a special interaction with traders at Sadar Bazaar, Dhuri, today. A large number of small and medium-scale traders participated in the meeting and highlighted various issues and challenges related to their businesses before the Commission.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman of Punjab State Traders Commission Dhuri, Pushpinder Sharma, held a direct interaction with the traders, patiently listened to their concerns, and assured them that every genuine issue raised by the trading community would be resolved on a priority basis. He stated that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working towards creating a supportive and hassle-free ecosystem that enables traders to expand and strengthen their businesses.
The Chairman further emphasised that traders play a vital role in strengthening the state’s economy as commercial activities not only generate employment opportunities but also make a significant contribution towards the government’s revenue. Therefore, ensuring the timely redressal of traders’ grievances remains one of the key priorities of the state government.
He added that the Punjab State Traders Commission is serving as an effective bridge between the trading community and the government. The Commission is actively reaching out to traders in different cities and towns to understand their ground-level concerns and facilitate their prompt and effective resolution through coordination with the concerned departments.
During the meeting, traders also put forward several suggestions and demands for improving the business environment. The Chairman assured them that all constructive suggestions would be examined positively and appropriate steps would be taken in consultation with the concerned departments.
Office bearers of the Dhuri unit, representatives of various traders’ associations, and a large number of traders were present on the occasion.
