Hoshiarpur- Lok Sabha Member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and MLA of Chabbewal Assembly Constituency Dr. Ishank Kumar Chabbewal today distributed loan waiver certificates to the needy and backward class families of Chabbewal constituency. The Punjab government has waived off loans of Rs 56 lakh 52 thousand 909 of these families.
Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and Dr. Ishank Kumar Chabbewal said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has waived off loans worth Rs 67.84 crore, which has provided great relief to the poor and backward class people of the state.
Loans worth Rs 1 crore 84 lakh 37,150 of 155 families of Hoshiarpur district have been waived, with which the Punjab Government has provided great relief to the poor families. Dr Chabbewal further said that this initiative is a big step taken by the Punjab Government to bring prosperity in the lives of the poor so that no one is left behind due to financial constraints.
He said that the Punjab Government is ensuring equal development of every section and all the policies are being implemented at the ground level. Dr Chabbewal said that the state will progress rapidly in terms of development only when all sections develop equally. On this occasion, Dr Ishank Kumar Chabbewal said that the families who have been given relief in Chabbewal Assembly Constituency were suffering from mental stress due to this debt for the last several years, but now the Punjab Government has relieved these families of their stress and provided them an opportunity to move ahead in life.
He said that development work is going on continuously in the Chabbewal constituency and in the coming time, many more projects are being given by the Punjab government for the constituency and our only aim is to make Chabbewal constituency the number one constituency of Punjab in terms of development. The families who reached on this occasion thanked the Chief Minister of Punjab Government Bhagwant Singh Mann, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar Chabbewal.
