Hoshiarpur:- Former Member of Parliament Avinash Rai Khanna said that the Punjab Government’s ?10 lakh health insurance scheme is not being implemented in most hospitals of Punjab, due to which the people of the state are feeling cheated as health insurance cards are being rejected in several hospitals.
Khanna said that the Chief Minister of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, has been adept at making rhetorical promises from the beginning. To secure votes of the people of the state in the upcoming elections, the Punjab Government showed the dream of ?10 lakh health insurance cards to the people of the state, but these cards are being rejected in many hospitals, regarding which complaints are also being received from the public.
Khanna said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should ensure that if he genuinely wants to provide health facilities to the people of Punjab, then the ?10 lakh health insurance scheme must be implemented in reality across all hospitals in Punjab.
