Hoshiarpur: MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa formally inaugurated the work for the installation of a new tube well in Shri Guru Ravidas Nagar, Adamwal. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is carrying out development works equitably across every region of the state; furthermore, wherever people require basic amenities, work is being executed on a priority basis.
MLA Jimpa acknowledged that, under the leadership of Sarpanch Kulwinder Kaur, villagers—including Balkar Singh, Nirmala Devi, Amandeep Singh, and Desraj—played a pivotal role in facilitating the project by providing land and other necessary support for the tube well. He noted that the residents of the Adamwal area had long been demanding access to clean drinking water—a demand that is now finally being fulfilled. He added that the commissioning of this tube well would provide immense relief to the local residents and offer a permanent solution to the area's water scarcity issues. He further directed officials to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe and to ensure high-quality execution so that the public may begin reaping its benefits as soon as possible.
He also affirmed that the Punjab government takes the issue of wastewater drainage in the village very seriously, and necessary steps will be taken shortly to devise a permanent solution to this problem. MLA Jimpa reiterated that the government remains continuously committed to the development of both villages and cities, and that the resolution of public grievances is being addressed on a priority basis.
Also present on this occasion were Sunil Kumar, Manish, Jivan, committee member Raghuvir Kaur, Bakhtawar, and Rajan, among other dignitaries.
