Chandigarh, 13 September:- Haryana Education Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda addressed a press conference at the PWD Rest House located on Railway Road in Sonipat regarding the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to be organised from September 17 to October 17, 2026, on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi completing 25 years of public life and public service. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has dedicated 25 years of his public life to serving the country, nation-building and strengthening India. During these 25 years, from his journey as the Chief Minister of Gujarat to the Prime Minister of the country, there have been numerous decisions and initiatives that have given new momentum to the direction of the country's development.
The Education Minister said that the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is not merely a programme, but a comprehensive campaign to take the work of service, dedication and nation-building carried out by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi over 25 years to every section of society. Under this campaign, 13 major programmes have been planned in Haryana, which will be taken to every village, street and locality, schools, institutions and booth level.

Gujarat's Development Journey Became a Model for the Country
Shri Mahipal Dhanda said that as Chief Minister of Gujarat, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi got the opportunity to rebuild the state after a major natural calamity like the devastating Bhuj earthquake. Despite the extensive loss of life and economic damage at that time, Gujarat carried out reconstruction rapidly and established a new identity in the field of development in the following years.
He said that during his tenure of approximately 12-13 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat, a development model emerged that was discussed not only across the country but also at the global level. Due to these development works and leadership capabilities, confidence in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi strengthened across the country, and in 2014, the people of the country gave him their mandate and blessings as Prime Minister.

Prime Minister's Significant Contribution to Enhancing India's Prestige
The Education Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has established a strong identity at the global level. He said that the Prime Minister being conferred the highest honours by numerous countries around the world is also a symbol of India's growing global influence. He said that the Prime Minister's vision is not limited merely to taking India forward, but is also aimed at taking India's ideas and the spirit of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' to the world. India's objective is to promote peace, human welfare and development across the world. For this, it is necessary first to make India economically, socially, technologically and strategically strong.

Development Gained Momentum Through Road, Rail and Air Connectivity
Shri Dhanda said that strong infrastructure is essential for the development of any country. He said that during the tenure of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, historic work was undertaken to connect villages with paved roads through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Thereafter, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, unprecedented expansion took place in the fields of road, rail and air connectivity. He said that today better road connectivity is available in most parts of the country. The expansion of national highways, expressways, railways and air services has increased the possibilities of trade, employment and development. He said that the changes in the infrastructure sector across the country, including Haryana, are visible to ordinary citizens with their own eyes.

Decisive Decisions Taken in the Field of Security
The Education Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, several important decisions have been taken to strengthen the country's internal and external security. Referring to the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as a major decision, he said that a new environment of development and peace has emerged there thereafter. He said that earlier, due to terrorism and separatism in Jammu and Kashmir, ordinary citizens faced numerous challenges. Today, a major change in the situation there can be seen. Similarly, systematic action has also been taken against Naxalism, and the environment of peace and security has been strengthened in several parts of the country.

Basic Facilities Reached Poor Families
Shri Mahipal Dhanda said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, special attention has been given to providing basic facilities to poor and needy families. Through the Ujjwala Yojana, the work of providing cooking gas connections to women from crores of poor families was undertaken. He said that through the Swachh Bharat Mission, a campaign was launched for the construction of toilets in every household. Issues that people had earlier even hesitated to make part of public discussion were made national priorities by the Prime Minister. As a result, a large number of families across the country received the essential facilities required to live a dignified life.

'Asirwad Ka Diya' Programme to Celebrate Development Works
The Education Minister said that the 'Asirwad Ka Diya' programme will be organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Under this, lamps will be lit and celebrations will be held at places where important development works have been completed in recent years. He said that where new roads, national highways, schools, colleges, community health centres, primary health centres, hospitals, secretariats or other important development works have been completed, citizens will gather, light lamps and express gratitude for this journey of development.

'Dreams of India' to Connect with the Dreams of School Students
Shri Dhanda said that the 'Sapnon Ka Bharat' programme will be organised to provide a platform to the dreams and imagination of the children of the country. Under this, various competitions, including speeches, painting and rangoli, will be organised in government and private schools. He said that these competitions will first be organised at the school level, followed by the district level and then the state level. Winning students will be encouraged by giving them prizes. He said that bringing forward the children's thoughts on what India should be like in their imagination will be an important objective of this programme.

Information on Public Welfare Schemes Through Namo Seva Gatha
The Education Minister said that under the 'Namo Seva Gatha' programme, information about various public welfare schemes and policies implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be taken to the common people. He said that information about Jan Dhan accounts, the health of women and mothers, skill development, Har Ghar Nal Se Jal and various other schemes will be provided to citizens at the booth level by workers and members of society. The objective will also be to create awareness among eligible people so that they can avail themselves of the benefits of the schemes.

Special Activities for Children and Mothers at Anganwadi Centres
He said that a special programme named 'Aangan' will be organised at Anganwadi centres. Various competitions and activities will be conducted for young children. The mothers of the children will also be connected with these programmes. In addition, attention will be given to providing pregnant women with essential information related to healthy pregnancy, nutrition and children's health. The Education Minister said that healthy children and healthy mothers are the foundation of a strong India.

'Kahani Badlav Ki' to Showcase 25 Years of Transformation
Shri Mahipal Dhanda said that through the 'Kahani Badlav Ki' programme, the changes that have taken place in the country during Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 25 years of public life will be taken to the people. Street plays, social media and other creative mediums will be used for this purpose. People will be told how transformation has taken place in the fields of roads, electricity, water, health, education, security, technology and public welfare in recent years.

Message of the 2047 Goal Through Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra
The Education Minister said that through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047 will be taken to every household and every village. He said that the goal of a developed India is not that of any one individual or political party, but a collective resolve of 140 crore citizens of the country. He invited the youth and all sections of society to contribute to the building of a developed India. He said that positive thinking and collective efforts are necessary to achieve the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047.

Spirit of Dedication and Commitment to Be Reflected in Seva Jyoti Yatra
Shri Dhanda said that a 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' will also be taken out during the campaign. Its objective is to strengthen the spirit of service, dedication and commitment in society. Organisations and social groups working in the field of service will be associated with it. He said that organisations working for society are also playing an important role in preserving our culture, traditions and social heritage. Efforts being made to familiarise the new generation with its old culture should also be considered an important form of service.

'Seva Mera Yogdan' to Make Citizens Partners in Service
The Education Minister said that through the 'Seva Mera Yogdan' programme, every individual will be inspired to serve society according to their capacity. One person can contribute through a cleanliness campaign, while another can serve through a blood donation camp. He said that service has no single form. Every work done positively for society is a contribution to nation-building.

108-Metre Circumference Rangoli Rashtra to Become a Special Attraction
Shri Dhanda said that the 'Rangoli Rashtra' programme will also be organised under the campaign. Under this, a huge rangoli based on the map of India will be prepared within a circumference of 108 metres. An attempt will be made through this rangoli to depict the culture, food and diversity of different states of India. He said that natural materials such as rice, leaves and other natural items will be used in the rangoli, while the use of plastic and chemical materials will be avoided. He said that students and talented people interested in art and painting will also be associated with this programme so that their creative talent can be connected with national sentiment.

National Innovation Challenge and Jan-Seva Mahakumbh to Also Be Organised
The Education Minister said that a total of 13 major programmes, including the National Innovation Challenge and Jan-Seva Mahakumbh, will be organised under the campaign. The objective of these programmes is to provide a platform to the talent, spirit of service and creativity of different sections of society. He said that these programmes, which will run from September 17 to October 17, should not be viewed merely as activities limited to one month; rather, their objective is to strengthen the spirit of service and nation-building in society for the long term.

Campaign to Reach Every Booth, Every Village and Every Household
Shri Mahipal Dhanda said that there is a plan to take all these programmes to the booth level. Along with every worker, the cooperation of social, religious, spiritual, literary and other organisations will be sought. Schools, colleges and various institutions will also be associated with the campaign. He said that programmes will be organised on a wide scale to take to the people the major changes that have taken place in the country during Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 25 years of public life and his ideas. The Education Minister said that the essence of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is that, inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 25-year journey of service, dedication and nation-building, every citizen should resolve to contribute to the country and society at their own level.
