Bhawanigarh/Sangrur, 18 August:- Newly appointed Chairman of Market Committee Bhawanigarh Pardeep Kumar Mittal today formally took over his post in presence of MLA from Sangrur Narinder Kaur Bharaj. On this occasion large number of party leaders, workers, panches-sarpanches, arhtiyas, traders and area residents participated giving congratulations to newly appointed Chairman.
Before taking over post Pardeep Kumar Mittal thanked Guru Sahib Ji and starting his new responsibility praying for Sarbat Da Bhala. He said that with blessing of Guru Sahib and cooperation of people he will discharge this responsibility with full honesty, hard work and dedication.
On this occasion Chief Minister Punjab's OSD Rajveer Singh and Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Burst specially reached. They congratulated Pardeep Kumar Mittal on taking over as Chairman and expressed hope that he will work actively for solution of difficulties of every section connected with mandi along with running functioning of Market Committee Bhawanigarh in more smooth manner.
Addressing on this occasion MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that Pardeep Kumar Mittal is connected with people of area for long time and she has full faith that he will discharge his new responsibility with full dedication. She said that Market Committee has direct relation with farmers, arhtiyas, labourers and trader class, so while remaining on this post priority should be given to facility of every class and timely solution of problems.
MLA Bharaj said that Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed for welfare of farmers and labourers. Continuous work is being done to further better needed basic facilities for farmers in mandis of state along with making purchase process of crops smooth. She said that solution of problems of people of constituency Sangrur on priority basis and all-round development of area is her main priority.
Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Burst said that continuous efforts are being made by Mandi Board to strengthen basic infrastructure of mandis of Punjab and to give maximum facilities to farmers in mandis. Giving best wishes to newly appointed Chairman he said that every possible cooperation will be given to solve on priority basis needs of mandis coming under Market Committee Bhawanigarh and development of Market Committee Bhawanigarh.
During this newly appointed Chairman Pardeep Kumar Mittal thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, party leadership, MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj and Punjab Mandi Board for expressing faith on him. He said that responsibility which has been given to him, he will discharge it considering as service and will work taking everyone along to run Market Committee Bhawanigarh in better manner.
He said that special attention will be given so that farmers do not face any kind of trouble while bringing their crop to mandi, cleanliness, drinking water, light and other needed facilities in mandi are got smoothly and issues related to arhtiyas, labourers and trader class are solved timely. He assured that work of Market Committee will be done in transparent manner and keeping public interest as main.
During function party leaders, panches-sarpanches, workers, representatives of arhti and trader community and area residents reached from various villages and Bhawanigarh city honoured Pardeep Kumar Mittal giving best wishes for new responsibility.
