Haroli/Una, June 13 (Rajveer Chopra): The prize distribution ceremony for the competitive examination—organized by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jan Kalyan Foundation, Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with Edupace Coaching Institute, Una—was successfully held at Bachat Bhawan, Una.
More than 400 students participated in the competitive exam, reflecting the growing awareness and enthusiasm among the youth regarding such examinations.
The event was presided over by the Foundation's State President, Durga Das Hira. The scheduled chief guest, Dr. B.P. Ashok, could not attend the ceremony due to unavoidable circumstances; reports indicate that his flight from Lucknow to Delhi was grounded following a bomb threat, preventing him from reaching the event. However, he addressed the students and parents via video conferencing, congratulating the Foundation on the successful event and urging the youth to set high goals and work hard consistently.
Retired HAS officer B.R. Kamal attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Supreme Court advocates Sandeep Kumar and Alok Maheshwari participated as guests of honor. Speakers motivated the students to achieve their goals through discipline, self-confidence, and hard work, and commended the Foundation's efforts in the field of education.
Students who performed exceptionally well in the competition were awarded cash prizes and certificates of merit. Anirudh received ?21,000 as the first prize. Due to a tie for second place, Kapish, Ishant, and Rishabh were each awarded ?4,000, while Pooja Devi received ?5,000 as the third prize. Additionally, Parikshita, Anu, Payal, Ambika, Vansh, Isha, Aanchal, Naitik, Pradeep, Samiksha, Tanya, Rajveer, and Abhishek were honored with an incentive prize of ?1,000 each. Dignitaries and office-bearers present on the occasion included the Foundation's State President Durga Das Hira, Vice President Harichand Sandhu, State Spokesperson Shadi Lal Hira, Executive General Secretary Dilbag Singh, Una District President Advocate Naresh Kumar, District General Secretary Balram Mahe, and Media In-charge Sulinder Chopra.
