Sunam, July 3:- On the 26th death anniversary of former Punjab Cabinet Minister, the late Bhagwan Das Arora, a vast and modern park developed at a cost of about ?80 lakh to perpetuate his memory was dedicated to the public by Punjab Cabinet Minister Mr. Aman Arora.
Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that late Bhagwan Das Arora made significant contributions to the welfare of the people and the development of the region during his political life. He stated that his simplicity, connection with the people, and spirit of selfless service remain a source of inspiration even today. The fragrance of Mr. Bhagwan Das Arora's personality continues to permeate society. He added that this park will not just be a structure, but will serve as a memorial to the life of struggle and public welfare led by Bhagwan Das Arora.
He said that this park will prove to be a green and beautiful place for the residents of the area, where people can go for morning and evening walks and spend their valuable time. The park is equipped with special play facilities for children, seating arrangements for the elderly, beautiful walkways, landscaping, and other modern developmental features.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab government is continuously working for the basic needs of the people and urban development. He stated that such efforts will continue in the future to increase greenery in the state, improve public spaces, and provide a better living environment for the people.
During the event, tributes were paid to the late Bhagwan Das Arora, and his life and services were remembered.
Prominent personalities of the region, social leaders, a large number of local residents, and family members of the late Bhagwan Das Arora were present on this occasion.
