Kharar:- Under the able leadership of Mohali District Chemists Association (MDCA) President Shri Amardeep Singh and General Secretary Shri Vikram Thakur, the President of Saneta Chemist Association, Dr. Baljit Saneta, along with members, staged a protest. On this occasion, they raised slogans in support of their demands. 
They demanded that the illegal and unregulated online sale of medicines must be stopped immediately. The sale and home delivery of medicines without a valid and certified prescription should be halted. The policy of offering heavy discounts by online medicine platforms, which is severely affecting small and licensed chemists, should be banned.
They also demanded the immediate withdrawal of GSR 817(E) and GSR 220(E), which are allegedly being misused by various online platforms and quick-commerce operators for the uncontrolled supply of medicines.
On this occasion, Secretary Dr. Gurdhyan Singh, Dr. Deep, Dr. Kamran, Dr. Sharafat Ali, Dr. Ram Lal Goyal, Dr. Amarjit, Dr. Sarabjit Singh, Dr. Harish Banga, Dr. Imran Syed Saneta, Dr. Yasin Malik, Dr. Khushi Ram, and others were also present.
