Hansi: Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal directed Revenue Department officials to ensure the timely and transparent disposal of all cases related to land mutation, land partition, and paperless registration. He stated clearly that unnecessary delays in revenue services cause inconvenience to citizens; therefore, any laxity or negligence in resolving pending cases would not be accepted.
On Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal presided over a review meeting with Revenue Department officials at the local District Secretariat complex auditorium. The meeting covered issues such as land mutation, land partition, land demarcation (nishandehi), and paperless registration. SDM Rajesh Khoth, Tehsildar Anil Kumar Bidhan, Naib Tehsildar Suresh Kumar, and officials from various departments were present.
While chairing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner noted that numerous land mutation cases were pending in the district. He instructed all concerned officials to ensure the disposal of 50% of these pending cases by August 15 without fail. He directed every official to regularly review pending cases in their respective areas and meet targets within the stipulated timeframe. He warned that if negligence was found at any level, the concerned official would be held accountable.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the progress of the paperless registration system and directed officials to accelerate the process. He stated that no registration-related case should remain pending for more than five days. All cases must be resolved within the prescribed time limit to provide prompt and transparent services to citizens.
He also issued instructions for the speedy disposal of land partition cases, emphasizing that pending matters should be resolved on a priority basis so that people do not have to make unnecessary rounds of government offices.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal informed the attendees that a proposal regarding the demarcation of new Patwar circles had been sent to the state government with the aim of making administrative operations in the district more effective. The approval of the proposal will further accelerate and streamline revenue-related operations.
While reviewing the activities of the Agriculture Department during the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed officials to expedite the campaign for creating 'Farmer IDs'. He stated that generating land-linked IDs for 100% of the district's farmers is a government priority. He urged all officials to work with utmost dedication and responsibility to achieve this target within the stipulated timeframe.
Assuring the officials, he stated that the district administration would immediately provide any additional resources, manpower, or other support required to ensure the campaign's success. He emphasized that the Farmer ID would play a crucial role in ensuring farmers receive the benefits of various government schemes in a timely manner; therefore, no laxity should be permitted in this task.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all officials to prioritize the fulfillment of government-set targets and to ensure the delivery of timely, transparent, and accountable revenue services to the general public.
