Ratia, January 4: On the fourth day of the seven-day camp at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Ratia, District Elementary Education Officer of Fatehabad district, Anita Bai, specially inspected the camp. In her address, she said that NSS camps play a crucial role in the all-round development of children. On this occasion, under the leadership of Program Officer Babita, volunteers Payal, Navjot, Meenakshi, Palak and Rajni discussed in detail the preparation of rice, pulao, and raita. Applauding the students, DEEO Anita Bai said that these small gestures prove very useful in life. Block Education Officer Shashi Prakash also participated in the event. Upon his arrival at the camp, NSS volunteer students welcomed Block Education Officer Shashi Prakash with a bouquet. He was accompanied by the school principal Gajanan Sharma.
Addressing the students, he said that artistic skills play an important role in the development of children.
He addressed the students on the proper use of mobile phones and advised them to use mobile phones very cautiously and safely to derive maximum benefit, and to use them only for gaining knowledge related to the syllabus. Block Education Officer Shashi Prakash was honored with a token of love by Principal Gajanan Sharma at the camp. On this occasion, among others, litterateur Dr. Naib Singh Mander, Baljinder Singh, Manju Wala, and lecturer Sunil Kumar were present. The important role of conducting the program was played by lecturer Sunil Kumar, student Jasmine, Sukhmani and student Suman.
The guests observed the rangoli prepared by Jashanpreet Kaur, Jyoti, Pinki Preet, Jassi, Deep Kaur, Sukhpreet, Simran, Sunita, Manjot, Vaishali, Rekha, Sanjana, Bina and Suman. NSS volunteers visited the colony adjacent to the school and inquired about the well-being of the elderly, emphasizing the importance of a good diet and maintaining cleanliness for a healthy life. The NSS volunteers received blessings from the elders and also gained valuable wisdom.
During the camp, the students showcased their talent in the Kho-Kho game. School staff, including Lali, Gurdev Kaur, Baldev Singh, and Pooja, were present on this occasion.
