Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 24:- Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain instructed the district health program officers and senior medical officers that patients and other people should not face any problem in terms of examination, treatment and medicine in all government health institutions of the district and all high-level health facilities should be ensured.
He was addressing the monthly review meeting of the officers here today. Talking about the Chief Minister's Health Scheme, Dr. Jain instructed that a health insurance card should be made for every beneficiary in the district and people should be made aware about the benefits of this scheme as much as possible. He said that people are very enthusiastic about insurance cards and a large number of cards are being made. Despite this, it should be ensured that no beneficiary is deprived of this card.
HPV Regarding the vaccination campaign, he said that it is very important to vaccinate all the beneficiary girls in the district as it is necessary for prevention of cervical cancer and other diseases. He directed that the awareness campaign for HPV vaccination should be intensified and the beneficiary girls and their parents should be well explained about the benefits of this medicine.
The Civil Surgeon said that cleanliness, cleanliness of toilets etc. should be ensured completely in government health institutions so that a clean environment can be provided to the patients. During the summer season, drinking water should be arranged for the patients and other people in every institution.
He again directed that uninterrupted supply of electricity should be ensured for 24 hours in hospitals and full power backup is also necessary to deal with any emergency.
He said that every government health institution should have a full stock of required medicines at all times. If there is any deficiency, it should be brought to the notice of the higher authorities immediately and necessary arrangements should be made. He said that in addition to general patients, pregnant women should be provided with complete health facilities including examination, treatment and medicine in Aam Aadmi clinics.
Laying special emphasis on the prevention of dengue, malaria, chikungunya and other related diseases, the Civil Surgeon asked all the officers to make people more aware about the symptoms, causes, prevention and treatment of these diseases and to intensify the door-to-door checking campaign.
