Haroli/Una, June 27 (Rajveer Chopra): A swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected panchayat officials was held on Friday at the panchayat office premises in Gram Panchayat Dulaihar. The event was presided over by the newly elected Pradhan, **Shri Monu**. On this occasion, he administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected panchayat officials and ward members.
During the ceremony, all public representatives pledged to bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India, to discharge their duties with honesty, impartiality, and full dedication, and to ensure justice for all citizens in accordance with the Constitution and the law, without fear, favor, or ill-will.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the newly elected Pradhan, **Shri Monu**, along with the panchayat members, planted saplings within the panchayat premises, conveying a message of environmental conservation and the creation of a 'Green Village.' He also appealed to all villagers to plant as many saplings as possible and to nurture them.
The newly elected Up-Pradhan, **Shri Mahinder Singh**, and ward members **Smt. Kiran Bala, Shri Khajan Singh, Smt. Suman Devi, Smt. Jyoti Rani, Shri Mohammad Rafi, Smt. Raksha Devi,** and **Smt. Veena Devi** were present on the occasion.
Panchayat Secretary **Shri Charanjit Singh** and other dignitaries also attended the event. The ceremony concluded with a pledge to prioritize the all-round development of the panchayat, cleanliness, environmental conservation, and public welfare initiatives.
