Mohali: A delegation from the Mat-Pita Godham Trust today extended an invitation to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to serve as the Chief Guest at the Lifetime Achievement Awards ceremony. This event is scheduled to take place on April 10th—marking the 15th 'Mat-Pita Pujan Diwas' (Parents' Worship Day)—at the world's first-ever 'Mat-Pita Mandir' (Parents' Temple), currently under construction at Village Khallaur on the Banur-Ambala Road in District Mohali.
The Trust's Founding Trustee, Gochar Das Gyan, stated that upon accepting the invitation, Nayab Singh Saini gave his assurance that he would attend the program.
The delegation accompanying Gochar Das Gyan included Trustee Surnesh Singla; Ankur Gupta (son of Trustee Kashmiri Lal Gupta); Senior Vice President Sushil Bindal; and Dev Kumar Sharma, Chairman of the Haryana Seed Development Corporation.
Notably, the world's first Mat-Pita Mandir is being built on the main highway along the Banur-Ambala Road in District Mohali. Every year on April 10th, 'Mat-Pita Pujan Diwas' is celebrated here with great pomp and fervor, drawing people from various states who come to worship their parents.
Very soon, this world-first Mat-Pita Mandir will be dedicated to society. Founder Gochar Das Gyan has appealed to all fellow citizens to visit Mat-Pita Godham in large numbers on April 10th to worship their parents; all devotees will be provided with worship platters, materials, and other necessities right at the venue.
The program is scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM, and a continuous community feast (*Bhandara*) will be served starting from the afternoon. He further noted that this will be the first temple in the world to foster the realization that divinity resides within one's own parents.
