Nawanshahr, December 18:- On the instructions of District Police Chief Mr. Tushar Gupta (IPS) who took charge a month ago on November 18, the Nawanshahr police under the leadership of SP Law and Order Mr. Iqbal Singh have proved to be completely successful in nabbing the miscreants outside the School of Eminence during the holidays.
It is worth mentioning here that for some months now, a group of 20-30 boys used to come and spread complete hooliganism at the local Chandigarh Marg and School of Eminence, where a large number of boys and girls study, when they had holidays, a group of 20-30 boys used to come and spread complete hooliganism. The security personnel often seemed helpless in front of those who spread such a riot. Many times some important people thought to track them down, but since the accused did not have any numbered vehicle, the accused often escaped by committing atrocities.
The school principal also tried to identify the accused many times with the help of CCTV cameras, but the accused often went beyond the limits of the cameras and beat up the students of the school indiscriminately and escaped. Seeing this, it often seems that there is no rule of law here but only of goons. There is not much difference between the words at the end and the end, then what was the time that came and knocked on the door.
When this matter was brought to the attention of the District Police Chief Mr. Tushar Gupta by someone, he assigned the responsibility of this matter to SP Law and Order Iqbal Singh, who first of all posted two women police personnel in civilian clothes in the school during the holidays and got a complete information about the situation.
Then what happened? After receiving the report, the main road outside the school was converted into a police cantonment from the second day. The mischievous boys could not find a way to escape. The police gave full hospitality to the alleged culprits. Now, the police of the Nawanshahr City Police Station, along with the police chief, Inspector Avtar Singh, Traffic Incharge Subhash and some employees of the SSP office are continuously performing their duties.
A close watch is being kept on the coming and going of suspicious persons, if there is any suspicion, the persons are stopped and only after a thorough investigation is done, the persons are allowed to go. Those who are roaming around on two-wheelers and three-wheelers, and those who are bursting firecrackers on bullet motorcycles are being fired daily.
Daily challans are being given as gifts to those who violate traffic rules. The victims are thanking the district police and saying that if the police does good work, then it is also worth praising them. He expressed hope that the police would continue their campaign against anti-social elements.
