Nawanshahr: Navjot Sahit Sanstha Aur organized a “Sahitak Samagam” at Anmol Palace Banga, in which newly joined writer members of the institution were welcomed. Among these members, Manpreet Kaur Sodhiyaan, Rajwinder Kaur Nagra, Inderpreet Kaur Wajidpur, and Shiv Bachhauri were honored. They were presented with mementos by the institution and were adorned with flower garlands. This honor ceremony was performed by the chief guest, social worker Bibi Paramjeet Kaur Majara Raja Sahib. She appreciated the activities of the institution and described writers as the pride of society.
The President of the institution, Davinder Skohpuri, while sharing his welcome address, said that Navjot Sahit Sanstha Aur has been rendering dedicated services in the field of literature for four decades. He said that the inclusion of these new writers in the Navjot family will further enhance these activities. The Secretary of the institution, Doctor Keval Ram, conducted the stage proceedings very well and shared information about the activities of the institution.
Former President of the institution, Surjit Majari, described the publication of around half a hundred books and the continuity of events under various banners as a unique achievement. Among those who extended their good wishes in their addresses were former President Satpal Sahlon, Gurnek Sher, and Rajni Sharma.
On this occasion, apart from the above attendees, poet Deep Kaler, Gurdeep Singh Saini, Kulwinder Kulla, Des Raj Bali, Hari Kishan Patwari, and others shared their poetic compositions.
On this occasion, Punjabi Lecturer Raj Rani, Vinay Sharma, Bikramjit Singh Rahon, Jagdish Happowal, Sukhpal Singh, Balwinder Kumar, Amandeep, Balwinder Kaur Bali, Inderjeet Kaur Indraan, and others were also present.
